Infiniti Q50 stars at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show

The Q50 is a fresh start for Infiniti and signals a new naming strategy: Q for saloons and coupes, QX for SUVs and crossovers.

Getting its first European outing at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and replacing the aging G37, the Q50 will take on the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class – and it’s got a few new tricks to help it stand out from the mostly German competition, including Infiniti’s first-ever four-cylinder diesel engine.

It almost looks like there are some sort of little diamonds around the projector

I am curious what each of the lights on the headlight and around the fog light do.

The projector could be bixenon. But if it is what is the point of the light beside the projector? The DRL maybe? If so what is the light on top of the fog light? And I am going to assume the signal is the piece in the corner of the headlight.

I am assuming the lights around the projector or daytime and the light above the fog light is an led turn signal.
