This new design of inifniti's to take over the G model is what was needed. Infiniti now just need to prove a bit more in the reliability department.
Performance is needed to. They need to aggressively bump the brand up to levels BMW, Mercedes and Audi are at. Lexus is finally doing this, time for Infiniti.

Looking forward to the day people have a hard time deciding to buy a BMW M3 or Infiniti equivalent (Q50 IPL?)

I just feel like Infiniti needs to figure out what they want to go for in the first place. I think they're just afraid of supplanting the GT-R but man... what a shame. If they can just work out the transmission (beefier), brakes (ones that don't warp), suspension (well... just about everything), traction control/forward collision (just being able to turn it COMPLETELY off) and interior cabin noise (everything fucking rattles), it would be worth the price they're charging now and then some.

**** you brought this back from the dead, lol. It's funny you say that about the rattle, when I sold the G35 every single piece of that car shook and rattled. The car was 15-years old so I guess I can't be too hard on it. Thing held together like no other though, no real engine/transmission issues.

and here we are posting about a year later.

yeah, any car will have something rattling eventually.
