I wanted more up-to-date car reliability information that made the differences between cars clearer. So a few years ago I started getting people together to make this possible. TrueDelta now updates actual repair frequencies, not just dots, four times a year, to track cars closely as they age.

We've had excellent participation by G35 and G37 owners, and have been providing reliability stats on these cars for years. I'd like to do the same for the Q50, just a matter of getting enough owners involved.

Participants simply report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, following the end of each quarter.

To encourage participation, participants receive full access to all results, not just those for the Q50, for free. I'll share results for the Q50 in this thread after each update.

I hope to have an initial stat for the Q50 with the May update. Here's what we currently have for the G, based on owner experiences through September 30, 2013. Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2012 G: 14, low
2011 G: 16, low
2010 G: 39, low
2009 G: 16, low
2008 G: 27, low
2007 G coupe: 12, low, very small sample size
2007 G sedan: 20, low
2006 G: 57, moderate
2005 G: 73, moderate
2004 G: 51, low
2003 G: 38, low

In many cases we have good sample sizes, in others I agree that we need more owners involved. That's why I appreciate that many forums have been very supportive.

I get emails all the time from people who find the site helpful. I post some of the comments here:

But if no one here wants to help, I can accept that.

What's your benefit in collecting all this data?

He uses ads and traffic to his site to earn money. It is all a sham.

I am going ballistic because literally he spams every single forum with his site and I find it so desperate.
