Here is my insurance quote through Geico for a 6 month policy:

2014 infi Q50 $443.23 ($73.87/month)

Breakout:
Bodily injury 100/300 55.17
Propery damage 50m 71.29
Personal injury protection 2.5m 11.45
Uninsured motorist BI 30/60 5.63
Uninsured motorist pd 25 250 ded 9.11
Comp 500 ded 55.54
Coll 500 ded 235.04

I gave him my VIN, and while Q50 was not in his system, I told him it was the redesigned G37 which they renamed.

Thanks for the numbers! I shot off an email to my insurance agent to see what they come back with. A month ago, they had quoted me a price $100 higher.
The premiums vary drastically with age/location/credit/driving record.
Coincidentally, I pay about the same for my G37. Also, if you lease you need a minimum of $300K liability coverage.
I am in Houston like Aggie, and I am buying, not leasing. Of course, the coverage levels on my quote are different than what Aggie has listed. Let's see what my agent comes back with. Currently with Liberty Mutual.

Per person or per incident? I have the 100/300, so I assume that is the $300K you speak of?
My quotes are more than twice as high. Good credit, no at fault accidents and late 30's. I'm wondering what I'm missing here.

Single/married your zip code. Also yearly mileage.
Also, I am single, 29, and one partial-fault fender bender (Geico said I was 25% at fault)...Yearly mileage of 15,000
I got quoted $962 from progressive for a 6 month policy up here in NY. You guys are really lucky because of your location.
Location Location. In south Florida the rates are very high due to uninsured
drivers and high rate of insurance fraud. "Have you been injured call 800.."

You're still a young driver. Then again, that's all relative. ;)

It also depends on where you live, accident history in that location, car density, cost of living in your market, etc.
I got quoted $1150 for 6 months by Progressive. I'm 24, Dallas, TX, buying the car, clean driving record. Hoping premiums drop when I turn 25...

This seems appropriate.

Check w/ GEICO. Best rates I've come across for young male drivers. I'm 24 and my '11 G37x w/ 100/300/100 limits & 500/500 deducts was $336 for 6mths in IL. Increased to $552 in TX. My best friend got the cheapest quote from them also.

Perhaps your insurer hasn't loaded it into their system & done a full rating on it. GEICO as of yest hadn't loaded it, so all I could get was a presumptive estimate.

Thanks for the advice man. I think the problem so far is that I don't have a VIN and some companies don't have the Q50 in their systems yet. I'll do some more research after Aug. 5th, I assume every insurance company will have the right info by then.

Own a house? And is it insured with the same company?
I am in NJ and I just added a 2013 gs350 to my policy and it cost $80 a month in NJ..
I am going to resurrect this thread and ask those folks with Geico. I was quoted almost $200 below what i am currently paying on a 6-month insurance quote for two cars and two drivers.

I asked my current insurance agent to match or come close to it. The response was that this is a introductory rate and they will jack it up after six months. I am sure this is scare tactics.

But what I want to ask Geico customers is how good is customer service with Geico. How good are they when it comes to claims and other issues? And i know insurance rates always go up, but how good or bad is Geico when it comes to rate increases - dramatic increases, small increments?

Thanks.
