I find this very annoying and wondering if I'm the only experiencing this. The InTouch system does not remember the last application I have up on the screen. It can be the radio, climate or one of the apps (I like using the Energy Flow app), it doesn't matter. Once I turn off the car and restart it, it always revert back to the main menu screen after it finishes loading the apps. I know the car recognizes my key fob settings as the seats, mirror, steering mode are all set.

Am I missing something?

Not sure why you guys Q50 don't remember your last setting after you turn off your car. Mine does remember. I always left the "Energy Flow" on my VID and it does came back to that screen when I turn on my car. Same for audio. If I turn off the car when the audio still playing a song, it does play back immediately to that same song when I turn on the car.

Nope. That's how it works by design. Nothing wrong With the car. Just poor design.

Because he is not talking about the center screen between the gauge cluster ;)

I'm totally with you and the fact InTouch is forgetting things makes me uncomfortable. But just imagine InTouch will need to start one more app on top of already slow loading process. It's beyond my understand why InTouch can't hibernate/sleep/suspend activities instead of complete shutdown every time when car powered off (considering it's probably 5-15 mins stop). Even 5 yrs old laptops can do that.

It bothers me too. My previous car (BMW) had all my setting ready for me when I got in the car. First, it takes forever to boot up and then it goes to the default setting. I hope there will be a way save setting in new software upgrade. They released a car without finishing what they promised.
