I had my car in the dealership this morning and the update took 3 hours. I am picking it up in a few hours. I will post after I use it. Fingers crossed.
Thank you
so this update came out on the 24th?

I believe that's when most dealers received the USB drives on 10/24.
Isn't a lot of that changelog similar to the previous, small update?

1-3 was listed on the last update, but 4 is new...and I'm sure 1 and 2 repeat itself this update as well, since it will inevitably have additional bug fixes and performance improvements.

I just had the last update done on Tuesday..... Now I have to take it back again?

No one is holding a gun to your head, but if you want the latest update, yes you'll have to take it back. The one you got on Tuesday had been out over a month now, this new one just came out yesterday.

Just amazes me the lack of coordination Infiniti has this time around. I'm at the dealer right now and their telling me they can't do the latest install, though they have it, because they need to do the 1.75 (the last one), and my vin doesn't apply for 2.0....

Which idiot designed software releases that it doesn't support backward integration. Applying 1.9, latest version, should also install 1.75.

To be fair are you sure that is what Infiniti actually told the dealer?
Well thats interesting :/ my car is now in storage for the winter, wonder whats going to happen when I bring it out in March and I have the oldest software version in the world. LOL
Alright did some digging around and apparently the different updates are based on the type of packages you have. I.got the 1.75 which was the first update I got since getting the car. My car was produced in June and since then no update was applied. I have the hybrid deluxe tech with navigation and this update I just received did include Sirius XM similar to Aggie.

Well went to the dealership on Tuesday and apparently there is not any updates available for my VIN so no SXM apps for me
Not well organized.

I've been digging at the inTouch interface and have decided that who ever designed it was either in a hurry or lacked a sense of organization.

Has anyone noticed that when you select setup (the gear in the lower left, not even shown in the owners manual) from the audio display you don't get all the audio setup options? Bose Centerpoint and AudioPilot and the Surround adjustments aren't there, to name a few. You have to go into Settings -> Audio to make those changes and a few others.

I also tried a couple of CDs and none of them had any disc or track information displayed on the screen. Bring up the track list and everything is blank except for the track number. Clearly, there's a lot of loose ends to be tied up on this interface. :b

The climate display is about the only one that I think is complete and reasonably well organized.

I was told the same thing but I insisted that they do some additional digging. The service consultant is only going to tell you what the service adviser software tells them. When my consultant put in my VIN, nothing at all came up for my car. It was still running the same software that it was delivered with back in August but I was being told nothing was available. The consultant went ahead and wrote up a ticket using the problems that the update is supposed to fix as my complaint. The technician applied the latest update and I now have all the SXM apps.

That's weird. When I have a CD playing(or more often, when the system is playing the CDs off of the iPod I downloaded them to), the track number, song title and artist all display. I can tell you I didn't do anything to the InTouch settings. Those who have been on the forum for a while, know THAT'S the truth.:D
Correction

I hope I didn't mislead anyone. Just to double check, I played a CD today, and only the track was indicated. So, the download to the computer, which then downloaded to the iPod, recorded the information, and it shows up on the screen in the car. But if playing a CD DIRECTLY to the sound system, it doesn't show the song title and artist? In other words, the iPod is more advanced than the InTouch. Sheesh.

Not all commercial audio CD's have CD-Text data which is required to display the title and artist information. When you rip it to iTunes, iTunes goes out and grabs the info from the Internet and embeds it in the ripped file. InTouch then reads the info from the file and shows the info. InTouch cannot show what it has not been given.

I've had the new update for over a week- no issues or problems. Screen doesn't freeze anymore and I've got the new SXM apps which are pretty cool. I'm very satisfied.
