I had my car in the dealership this morning and the update took 3 hours. I am picking it up in a few hours. I will post after I use it. Fingers crossed.
I believe that's when most dealers received the USB drives on 10/24.Thank you
so this update came out on the 24th?
1-3 was listed on the last update, but 4 is new...and I'm sure 1 and 2 repeat itself this update as well, since it will inevitably have additional bug fixes and performance improvements.Isn't a lot of that changelog similar to the previous, small update?
I just had the last update done on Tuesday..... Now I have to take it back again?1-3 was listed on the last update, but 4 is new...and I'm sure 1 and 2 repeat itself this update as well, since it will inevitably have additional bug fixes and performance improvements.
No one is holding a gun to your head, but if you want the latest update, yes you'll have to take it back. The one you got on Tuesday had been out over a month now, this new one just came out yesterday.I just had the last update done on Tuesday..... Now I have to take it back again?
To be fair are you sure that is what Infiniti actually told the dealer?Just amazes me the lack of coordination Infiniti has this time around. I'm at the dealer right now and their telling me they can't do the latest install, though they have it, because they need to do the 1.75 (the last one), and my vin doesn't apply for 2.0....
Which idiot designed software releases that it doesn't support backward integration. Applying 1.9, latest version, should also install 1.75.

Well went to the dealership on Tuesday and apparently there is not any updates available for my VIN so no SXM apps for meNo one is holding a gun to your head, but if you want the latest update, yes you'll have to take it back. I was told the same thing but I insisted that they do some additional digging. The service consultant is only going to tell you what the service adviser software tells them. When my consultant put in my VIN, nothing at all came up for my car. It was still running the same software that it was delivered with back in August but I was being told nothing was available. The consultant went ahead and wrote up a ticket using the problems that the update is supposed to fix as my complaint. The technician applied the latest update and I now have all the SXM apps.Well went to the dealership on Tuesday and apparently there is not any updates available for my VIN so no SXM apps for me
Not all commercial audio CD's have CD-Text data which is required to display the title and artist information. When you rip it to iTunes, iTunes goes out and grabs the info from the Internet and embeds it in the ripped file. InTouch then reads the info from the file and shows the info. InTouch cannot show what it has not been given.I hope I didn't mislead anyone. Just to double check, I played a CD today, and only the track was indicated. So, the download to the computer, which then downloaded to the iPod, recorded the information, and it shows up on the screen in the car. But if playing a CD DIRECTLY to the sound system, it doesn't show the song title and artist? In other words, the iPod is more advanced than the InTouch. Sheesh.
