Question for the group:
On your JB4 app, which meters do you display, and why?
For me, I display RPM, Ign1, AFR, IAT, ECU PSI and Boost.

Map, Boost, AFR, IAT, Water Temp, Trans Temp+

Map for Map switching
Boost to see what I am hitting when spoolin around
AFR for AFR checks while WOT
IAT to see temps under the hood
Water Temp to know when I can go WOT
Trans Temp to see my heat exchanger do its job

Oil temp - AFR - Boost 1 - Boost 2 - Ign1 - Trans temp, since in the Q that’s actually the charge air temp.

I tend to focus on the more static parameters like temp, Map, Target. It is too difficult and dangerous to try and watch Ign1, AFR, Trims, Etc while driving wide open throttle. Skyline and few others have a better chance to keep an eye on those being on the top infotainment screen.

To be totally honest, like @jcb said, I don’t stare at the gauges either. For me it’s a glance here and there, and more for checking on the overall health of my engine. For example, it’s been 4,000 miles since my last oil change and I KNOW I need to do one sooner rather than later because my oil temps are typically 10 to 15 degrees higher than they were when the oil was new. So I know the oil is breaking down and not cooling as well as it was.
