I been trying to figure it out but cant. When I walk to the car and press the button on the door handle it beeps twice. It NEVER beeps only once to open the door. So I can't get in the car by pressing the button in the door handle. Thanks.

Just put your hand inside the handle instead of pressing the button. This will open the door. Press the button will lock the doors.
Now, if you wants to unlock all 4 doors at once, there is a setting in the Intouch to do so.

Pressing the button is making you lock the doors.

As mentioned, you only need to grab the door handle and pull to unlock the driver/all doors.


You should've known this by now but it's not your fault. You dealer/sales consultant should've explained this to you.

It's a great new feature and I LOVE it.

I had the same issue for a few days. I guess I got use to my G37. Sigh* I kinda miss my old ride. I wish I had them both. . Yes the new feature is pretty cool. I just have to figure out how to open all the doors while outside. Before I use to press the button twice (that's how I had it.)

You can also deactivate the "touch sensitive door sensor" via Intouch, which will allow you to unlock the driver door like the G37 (via the door handle request switch). Click once for the driver door, and twice for all 4 doors.

Menu > Settings > Vehicle > Touch Sensitive Door Sensor - not "ON"

Go to Settings, Vehicle and turn off "selective door unlock".

i believe its like this for BMWs and Audis too.
