Q50's are quite on idle, you can hear them starting one up in the video half way through and after that you don't hear anything else. but in the video in this thread http://www.infinitiq50.org/forum/new-2014-infiniti-q50-videos/617-test-drive-peni-infiniti.html sounds like once you step on the pedal they really open up.

this could be good for people wanting to iinstall an aftermarket exhaust, cause then it should be quite when you need it and get loud enough when you really punch it!

The Q60 on the other hand. Nice growl at startup
