Yea they put that on the new S550 already. It's kinda cool; nothing extraordinary to me. I think if Infiniti did it, it'd be cheesy. Just don't think it fits within their brand given its limited product line vs. MB.

There's a company called Amp'd Emblems that does it. They made a couple for Infiniti already. Here's one:

I've seen them more on Hondas and Acuras and Scions. Not really a fan of them unless the car is riced up. Which is why it suites Hondas and Scions, but for Infiniti's I wouldn't do it.

Came across this photo of the Infiniti Essence concept w/ an illuminated logo. Maybe Infiniti will offer this as an option in the near future.
