I am suddenly getting the "Maintenance Tire" message on start up each time I turn on my Q50S hybrid --- I have not set any tire reminder and my tire pressures are fine. I only have 4600 miles on it so this is perplexing...

Any ideas?

Best thing is probably bringing it to dealer for them to check out what the problem is!

No need to go to dealer. Just re-set the maintenance reminder for a mileage more in line with when you'd like to be reminded.

I have found while going through a lot full of these that many of them are coming with random mileage intervals. The PDI training we went through skipped one of the maintenance indicators (there are actually two). I have been trying to inform everyone possible about this but I suspect many owner are going to find random service interval reminders popping up between 4 and 7 thousand miles.

To reset the indicator, or set the combination meter gauge to the proper 5K interval, for oil and tire. I typically only set either oil or oil filter, they are replaced in pair so there is no need for extra reminders.

SETTINGS --> METER --> MAINTENANCE -->
From here you should see a map with sliding points.

The Maintenance Note section will bring you into the sub menu that will display on the main screens.

There are several options for maintenance reminders, in this system you can really have as much, or as few as you prefer.

I found the screen recently while playing with the system. You're right that the maintenance indicators seemed to be totally random in their set up. I just moved them to the far right. I don't need a computer to tell me when it's time to change the oil or rotate the tires. Sheeesh.

Thanks! That was exactly correct -- I was adjusting the one reminder under maintenance notes but not the one in meters.

:pThere's an ITB13-047 for this issue, 2014 Q50; MAINTENANCE REMINDERS IN METER AND ON APPS SCREEN.

It is very weird, but there are two maintenance records. One is under settings - meter, another one is under settings - other. I have no idea why Infiniti decided to have oil and tire records store separately in two different options, but it is what it is. I first reset everything under settings - other, but maintenance tire icon continued to bother me until i reset it in settings - meter
