Recently purchased Motegi wheels that are about the same as the stock set up just wider and verified through Tire Rack.

I have 245 wide 45 a/r on R18 Michelins going in the front,
For the rear I am doing 275 45 R18
Stock suspension

Most people max out at 45 ratio for the rear, the 5 extra I feel like I should be okay, anyone have any input on this?

Having it installed today or tomorrow just want to double check if other people have tried as well.

correct tire size to keep oem tire diameter is 275/40/18. a 275/45/18 is an inch taller than stock with an extra half in of sidewall. the tires will start to look like they belong on a SUV. 275/40/18 is the better size.

alternatively, you can fit a 315/35/18 on a 18x10.5 +50 wheel, FYI.

Thank you! This car is being built for the drag strip, but these are more street tires for street passes. I appreciate it I did not know the sizing difference.
