2014 Infiniti Q50 Review - Cars - MensJournal.com

I must say, I like speed and handling as much as the next guy but I have been impressed most by the neutral or even positive reviews of the in-touch system. Good on ya Infiniti. This was a big worry for a lot of people, specially after the Cadillac CUE debacle.

Not sure why this guy thinks he can drive around town without touching the steering wheel or brakes though. Tech is great but that's not what it was made for obviously. Still, a bit of a layman's view and an overall really good review!

You can't. There are instances where it just flat does not work. The lane guidance is the least impressive of the tech packages. The blind spot monitoring and intervention, and the forward collision and braking, however, is some of the most amazing technology i've seen. I will not be relying on the lane guidance as much because I find it doesn't work as reliably as the other systems.

As I read it, the author unwittingly pointed out that he is a toe-headed moron. There are exactly zero cars where it is safe to take your hands and feet off the wheels and pedals in a downtown area. Hopefully, some 85 year old chap doesn't read that article and think "Finally!". Because I am certain that some media idiot would try to blame the car, in the same way they try to blame firearms when some miscreant commits a crime.

Though the overall review appears positive, the flies are tired of their feasting on dead horse flesh being interrupted by simpletons with whips who are perplexed by a letter change, especially considering that this isn't the first time Infiniti has used "Q".

I am of a thought that the majority of auto reviewers are either all close friends who share their work because they are too busy surfing internet pornography to write something themselves, or there is actually only one writer who submits slightly varied pieces under various pseudonyms to the magazines and websites in question.

Fist thing I turned off on my 06 M was the lane departure warning. I expect to do the same with the Q unless I'm on the highway. I found it was too sensitive on back roads but useful on the highway.

Right! Is it just me or are these writers tasked with coming up with a specific word count for their articles and they fluff the first 50% of them talking about the stupid name change.

Selzini's head must be spinning!

I think they know that...It is turned off by default. I did turn it on, but I will likely turn it back off unless I'm on a trip.
