so this happened a few times already. I usually have my Ipod connected to listen to music, and when I'm listening to music, the whole computer freezes, the volume doesn't work, cant go to the menu, and cant use the controls on the steering wheel. What also happens is that when the music freezes, it sounds like a CD that is scratched up and repeating the same bit thats less than a second long over and over again. I tried resetting it by holding menu, and that didn't seem to work, and then i held the volume button and the menu button together for a minute and still didn't work, and what I had to do for the computer to reset was turn the car off and turn it on back again. Both screens didn't work. The navigation was working but i couldn't get into any of the menus that is on the navigation screen

You need to get the latest software update from your dealer. They fixed it in the new software

I get this problem daily now. It usually unfreezes in 5-15 minutes of driving though. When I first got the car I didn't have any of the symptoms, it was about 2 weeks in I started getting the problem. It would happen about 2 to 3 day intervals before, now it happens daily and I find myself pulling over just to restart the car because its absolutely retarded to not enjoy that awesome sound system while driving. It was so embarrassing when I was listening to daft punk on the radio and the next song that comes up is miley cyrus and you can't turn the volume down and you are struggling to roll the windows up and its just so slow....... i definitely came in like a wrecking ball =(

My dealership is waiting for Infiniti Canada to get the update, and Infiniti Canada is telling me that they are aware of the issue and the update for it but my dealership would know more about the issue. My dealership told me that I would be first in line to get the update once they get it from Infiniti Canada.

Did Infiniti just forget Canada exists? There has already been 2 updates out for the Q50.
