does anybody know how to turn off the map display? that only show the clock.

Can't say I've seen that feature.
I've only seen that you can split the screen half nav, and the other half can display something else.

If you go into settings and then into screen, you can turn the display completely off, but the clock up top is only available in the non-navigation models.

Oh ye. In this case in the upper right hand corner I think the clock still shoes (but not the big clock like the non nav's which Matt said).

The clock has shoes??? If that's true, I guess it is "time" to "walk" away.
