So i was cleaning my maf sensors earlier and when i hooked everything back up i turned on the power on the car (engine off) and i started hearing a clicking noise coming from right under the Bov's ive double checked everything and everything looks fine has anyone ever ran into this problem? The car runs fine and everything any help is appreciated

That's the electronic waste gate actuator. Not sure why it'd be making noise though. Might need to disconnect the battery for a bit and see if it stops when reconnected.

Yeah it just started making it out of nowhere all i did was unplug the maf sensors. Thats exactly what i just did right now hopefully that fixes it if not they might need to be replaced but kinda doubt it its making the noise on both sides too, car still drived fine tho no CEL. Thanks for the reply tho man!

Injectors?
no not injectors. it's when the car is in ignition but hasn't been started. i can hear the electronic waste gate just ticking and I've confirmed it by unplugging the connection for it and the sound goes away.

Whichever side's wastegate control actuator is making that noise most likely will require replacement of the turbocharger. You should still be covered under the powertrain warranty, so you should take the car in for diagnostics.

unfortunately i do not have a warranty anymore as i got my vehicle off auction with a salvage title.
