Hey guys I just purchased a new 2014 Q50S Hybrid AWD yesterday, don't take actual delivery until next Saturday but I'm already thinking about my first mod. The car I purchased came with the black metallic painted grille which is very attractive but Infiniti does not paint the lower grille ONLY the upper one, stupid in my opinion. I'm going to need to pull off the lower grille and get it painted to match the upper.

My questions - Has anyone done this before....? Does anyone know how best to find matching paint...?

Arent u able to just take off the front bumper and tape off everything else?

I had my upper grille painted and didnt bother on the lower one since it for me it contrasted well!

Yup...really dig the appearance package lip spoiler and the bright rims.

Dunno why Infiniti soaks you for rims...you should just have the option to pick different ones. In any event...they look nice.

Thanks everyone, yeah the wheels are very nice. As far as waiting goes, none here. I purchased this car right off the lot. The GM ordered twin black on black hybrids and this was the 2nd of the two. It was stragetically staged right on the pedestal at the front door of the dealership so you could not miss it. This car have each and every option, many I would never have choosen if I were to order one. I was actually more interested in a less equipped black on black at a nearby sister dealership but they gave me such a smoking deal on this one that I basically got all the extra belles and whistles at pretty much no cost. I agree that $1900 is a llittle steep to upgrade to those wheels but they do look sweet.

I like it. Black is definitely the way to go (although Simpson's "cherry" is looking dope!). I'm surprised how good the chrome wheels look (I'm not a chrome wheel fan, but these are the exception).
