Hello all, just picked up a Q50 in dark gray last night. So far I love the car and would have preferred a 50s but my dealer did not have the color I wanted and I am too impatient to wait.

I may have to pick up some new wheels, I am not a fan of the non sport wheels. Anyone have a non-sport with the sport wheels and tires?

Looking forward to browsing the forums and learning more about the car.

Congrats and enjoy your new ride! Maybe check out the graphite shadow picture thread! Might have someone there with that set up!

The car looks awesome in Graphite Shadow with the sport wheels. Get a set for summer and use the 17's to mount snow tires. Or get a set of Vossen CVT's or something else. There are tons of options out there.

Congrats, I was in the same situation. I wanted Graphite Shadow badly. Amazing color. So I didn't get the S version and it bothers me now. But down to the road we will find some nice wheels to put on. As Sinecure mentioned, tons of options. Enjoy the car.

Or if you wait until you mess up the front bumper, you can replace it with a sport bumper :nerd:

How much does the dealership want for the sport bumper replacements? north of $2500?

No idea Vancity. Totally not my department. I bet you can get it from a body shop for the same price as the parts department at the dealer would charge you.

Then again, Eau Rouge bumpers and side skirts should become available within a year or so. That would be a cool addition.

Thanks all! I am really enjoying the car and of course the dealer now has a graphite shadow S in stock as well as a S Hybrid. :)

As I am leasing I think I will keep the wheels stock as I had a chance to drive the Hybrid and loved it. Looks like a Hybrid S will be next in line once the lease is out, hard to beat the combination of looks, power and gas mileage.
