So, let me get this straight. Infiniti's parent company, Nissan, has clearly,
publicly, and
directly stated to its customers that VPP pricing
will be available on the Q50 "upon launch", and a "dealership spokesman" on this thread STILL refuses to believe it?

To said "spokesman", it's ok to realize that you jumped the gun, but don't chastise the rest of us for calling you out on false reporting that you attempted to pass off as "factual". We're all here to share knowledge and information about the Q50, but for you to come on here and spew unsupported statements as matters of fact that merely amount to wild guesses is comical, in the least.
"VPP is a voluntary program for dealers. There is not a dealer in the US that will sell a Q50 at invoice for the next 3 months."
Beg your pardon? As someone replied, you can't seriously imagine that every single dealer in America will refuse to honor a program PUBLICLY promoted by the brand? Yet, it sounds like you do believe this; or, perhaps you simply can't swallow the fact that someone called you out on a simple misstatement of fact that you passed off as an assurance. We've all speculated on several aspects of this car from the beginning, but most of us have made it clear that we aren't employed in any capacity by Infiniti--as you have claimed. I think you'd do yourself a service by ending this antagonistic campaign against the masses here and accept the real fact that VPP pricing HAS been offered and WILL be honored by many Infiniti dealers nationally. If you were truly involved in the back finances of the dealership, then you'd understand that they don't absorb the final hit from VPP discounts; the corporation reimburses the dealership shortly after the claim is processed, hence the reason why Infiniti/Nissan is so stringent on customers providing evidence of their VPP association. Maybe the dealership that "employs" (?) you will refuse to honor VPP, but if that's the case then I'm quite certain the level of customer service offered there isn't satisfactory for my business, anyway. Btw, no "bubbles are burst", so carry on.
