Currently Nissan has one auto plant in Franklin, Tennessee that is focused on building Nissan models, though with one lonely Infiniti JX on the assembly line.

But yesterday, Nissan revealed they are considering building a second Infiniti plant in North America, without going into any details.

Not a lot to go by but this sounds like promising news for future Infiniti customers.

It wouldn't really benefit us as consumers per se... The prices would still be the prices but it would help our economy for sure...it's a way for Infiniti to get around the rising price of the Japanese yen = more profit for Infiniti with no savings passed in to the consumer...
