Obsidian Black now or Malbec Black Later

Long story short: Infiniti has 4 missed and wrong ETA's on our Malbec Black. Could be anywhere from tomorrow to end of Sept.

Ordered was a: Malbec Black + Graphite Interior + AWD Sport Hybrid + Nav + Deluxe Tech + Mats + Splash Guard.

Do we settle and get a Obsidian Black with everything the same + door sill light + cargo trunk package?

So a couple of hundred bucks more in accessories but doesn't have the unique glitter of the Malbec. What if the Malbec shows up the next day after buying this. Will we regret it?

I love black cars, have had three of them in the last ten years, but what I wished was that they offered a metallic black. The obsidian is non-metallic so if you don't mind that it is nice. As for the malbac, if you like purple it really is kind of cool, I just wasn't sure if I would regret the malbac later so I got the white and am very happy that I did.

My advice it stick with what you really want and be patient and you'll be happy with no regrets. Can they get find one at another dealer with your specs or close enough?

Malbec black is unique color ( I am waiting for mine due Sept 15), most of Malbec blacks are due as these were the last ones from preorder, I suggest wait.

I'd go for the Malbec black. You're paying a giant pile of money for this car. Don't compromise, get exactly what you want.

Id say go with what you originally wanted! U dont want to regret your decision in the end and keep asking yourself what if! Besides, I think you will really love Malbec Black! Its such a unique and awesome color!

Post pics when u finally get your Q50 man! :D
i have a malbec black m37s I will tell you its rare and I get compliments on my car everyday. It makes the regular black look bland. Its an amazing color and worth the wait. Especially if you know how to keep the car waxed/clean - streakless

Black is nice color but does not have intoxicating wine in it

Agree, not too many Round.
I have a Malbec g37x...love the color. Honestly, it is more black that I expected. You really have to be in sunlight to notice it is not a straight black color. The fact that it is metallic and has depth/sparkle is why I wanted it over black obsidian (and scratch/swirl problems).
My G37xS was Malbec. Since I try not to get the exact same color two cars in a row, I went with Obsidian. I have no regrets. I'm sure I will feel even better about it once I hit it with a clay bar, deironizer, some polish and a couple of coats of Wolf's Hard Body. I'll post pictures on Monday.
Whats here? Your MB Q50?

She will look nicer after some spa treatment.
I would just go for the Obsidian ;)

Congrats! Looks beautiful - cant wait for some pics after she's all cleaned up!
I'm biased. of course the malbec black :) hahahaha
i've got malbec black on my 2011 QX56, it is a bitch to keep clean, and when you wash it, wash scratches are much easier to see vs black just because of the shade of purple. you cant use turtle wax black box on it because its not pure black, and regular wax just doesnt do justice. you'd have to take it to local detailing shop once a year to keep it in tip top condition. however its an amazing color in person :)
