I just hyperlinked your setup.
did you look at any of the hyperlinks in post 363?When I purchased my Q50 the stock wheels were 17's. I quickly purchased some 20X8.5 wheels all around and I'm actually getting tired of this setup. I'm new to the forum and would love some opinions on a new setup. I'm thinking:
20x9 or 8.5 in the front and 20x10 or 10.5 in back
Then I want to lower it by maybe an 1 inch in front and maybe .5 or so in rear
Anyone that is running something similar or just familiar with the setup let me know how it was/is for you or what information you can provide concerning the setup.
I waited so I wouldn't be the only one responding to these with my own opinions, but here it goes...same for the next post:I really want to stick with a 40 aspect ratio tire for traction purpose. And I want to stay square so that I can rotate and maintain the lifespan as best as possible. Stock height, 19 Luxe RWD, no Akebonos. Wheels are 19x9.5 +35.
Can I fit 275/40/19 all around? I doubt it but figured I would ask. If not, can I least fit it in the rear? I know 275/35 will fit, really want to stay 40 though.
If I have to go staggered, will a 285 width tire be too wide for a 9.5 wheel?
Appreciate the feedback
Did you upgrade to sport brakes? If you were running 17" wheels, I'd highly doubt the 19" rays would give you any trouble.I have a Base model 2015 Q50 3.7 RWD with the stock 17" rims and stock tires. Stock everything. Here are my current stock wheel specs and below are the old G35 Rays wheel specs that i'm interested in getting. Does anyone know if I'll run into brake clearance issues or anything else with this setup if I stay conservative with tires?
Stock Q50 Rims
Front and Rear: 7.5Jx17 ET 45 (35min-55max) with 225/55R17 95V
Front: 19x8+30 with 225/40R19 86Y
Rear: 19x8.5+33 with 245/40R19 94Y

There is a link up there that is working...18x7.5 +45 OEM Enkei on AWD with sport brakes. Your +30 shouldn't have any issues (yes, I know different year wheel). I have a typo in my hyperlink name calling it 18x7.7
Those tire sizes shouldn't give you any trouble with clearance.
However, after a few months, you are gonna wish you had a wider front/rear setup...like the one on 2016+ RWD sport models...245 front...265 rear IIRC.
Here is my summer set up, 265/40/18 squared +35. 10".No hyperlink for an 18x10 +40mm Squared Setup w/ Akebono's.
Is anyone running this wheel successfully?
I wanted to run this size wheel (Titan 7 T-S5), on a 265/40/18 or a 275/40. Lowered on BC Racing Coilovers (stock camber).
Any advice would be appreciated.
