Hey Jo, I’ambfinally about to pull the trigger on either the Nismo wheels or the sport pac rays 19X 9. I noticed the Nismo wheels come with the same size tire from factory as the redsport. 245/40/19. Any disadvantage to running the oem size on such a wider wheel? Stretch? I think that size is at its limit at 9.5??

I would like a wider tire being at stock height, just afraid of rubbing but don’t Want to go down in diameter because I am a stock height, I don’t want the wheel gap to be too noticeable.

This is why I was considering the OEM Rey wheels at 9 inches wide because they are the closest to factory and I am on the 2015 sport wheels which are only 8.5 inches wide.

I also read initially that you had struggled with too much grip on the 275 tire and my vehicle is all wheel drive and I stock height I’m wondering if I will run into any similar issues.

you can not have a 275 square fitment with +32. You will rub.

I am at 275 +40 and the rears barely...just barely clear at full compression at outside corner of tire.

The "too much grip" was with RE71R. Inam running indy 500 275s amd it is fine.

The RE71R has a softer compound, wears fast, grips phenomenally. I may end up going back to it.

You should have zero...that is zero...issues with a 275 square fitment on the nismo 19x9.5 +40 wheels...especially with a tire that has a UTQG of 300+. Those tires have a slightly rounded shoulder.

I talked about all of your concerns in previous posts.

If you get a tire with a soft sidewall, it will be sloppy.

Michelins have soft sidewalls. Continentals have soft sidewalls.

if you run those tires you need a little stretch.

Sport Cup 2 has a stiffer sidewall than sport 4S...obviously. But RE71R has stiffer sidewall than sport cup 2.

indy 500 has a stiffer sidewall than the pilot sport 4S.

I can tell you this because I have compared the 4S, sport cup 2, indy 500 and RE71R. I have had all but sport cup 2 on my AWD RS.

I have no idea what all that other stuff is, took to tire garage today, he said a positive offset, the rest made no sense to me. He did order me a new wheel to replace the bent one.

Front tire size looks whack. Rear size looks correct. Do 245/40r19 oem size on the front of 255/4019

After reading you reply, I double checked the front tire size, it is 235/35/R19. Once the front rim is replaced, I plan on getting new tires. I’ll be triple checking the correct size.

If you want a flush look go with 45-40 offset rear and around 32-33 offset front

I believe the stock offset for OEM wheels is on the front page.

You can definitely try to find a set up here that is close to what you like or try to find one on fitment industries. This is what I did. Its good to know someone has a confirmed wheel set up so you know the set up works.

A: Front is (RWD or AWD 19x9 +47 245/40/19) and the rear is (RWD 19x9.5 +50 265/35/19...AWD 19x9 +47 245/40/19)

2. Q: My rims are 19x9.5 +35 all around what's a good tire size to run with these specs? Also on BC coils and plan on slamming it any issues i'll run into?
A: 255/40/19 or 245/40/19. You may be able to get away with 265/35/19. The clearance limiter is going to be your rear fender at a +35.

Recommended Camber settings for balance:
RWD

AWD
Q50 AWD with RSR coilovers and factory anti-sway bars
square 265/35/19 with a -2.2 Front camber should have between -1.8 and -2.0 camber in the Rear...NOT VERIFIED
(Note: A -1.1 front camber does not mean the rear would be between -0.9 and -1.0. You must figure out the proper balance independently)

Q50 AWD with RSR coilovers and factory anti-sway bars
square 275/35/19 with a -2.2 Front camber should have a -2.2 camber in the Rear...VERIFIED

I didn't see 255/40/19 for q50. I was wondering offset and width on wheels with stock suspension. I'd go with stock 245s, but I want the taller sidewall with roads. Any info I'd so appreciate. Ty. Squared.

Hello All,

I’ve done my research a and I think this should work well (I like the look and I need more traction past my current 245/40 + 285/30 S04 on Ace Alloy Forged 20x9 +35 and 20x10 +40).
Looking for confirmation before buying this set below.
Forgestar F14 20x9.5 +33 / 20x11 +56 on 255/35/20 and 305/30/20.
