Owner manual says no ling trip till 3000 miles

My wife is rattled about taking the Q to Nashville this weekend because the manual suggests it should not be run at high speed for long time until after 3000 miles
What do you think?

I remember this back in the 70 s but have not heard his in recent years
I want to get this beast out on I65 ASAP so I need some support

That is long trip not ling trip

Where in OM does it say? That you can not take long trips?

She thinks it was in getting started section near the beginning of the OM

Perception is incorrect.

OM only says to drive with care for 1200 miles, see link in previous post for details.

I am lucky, as long as I keep money in the checking account my wife is happy and has no opinion regarding what I do and don't do.
