So I decided to do a quick spray to get all the salt off my car today and I noticed paint missing by the passenger side rear doors.

I booked an appointment already but is this covered by elite wear platinum? The girl at the desk said it was, and before I purchased the plan the finance manager said it covered unlimited paint chips, scratches and dents.

I just read the contract and now it says it only covers scratches that doesn't go through the paint. Anybody know more about this?

Also what are the odds they can repair this without repainting. =(

theres no way to fix that without repainting, as from the looks of it, its right down to the metal, the only option you have without technically repainting, is to use touch up paint, then put a layer or clear coat over that, followed up by wet sanding to level out the excess paint and polish to bring back the shine, however its a pain in the ass and wont look the same as before, however prevents rusting and corrosion and beats looking at bare metal.
