Wondering if anyone has tried wearing polarized sunglasses and if there is any problem seeing the LCD displays in the dashboard and the navigation and touch screens in the center console.

I wear polarized sunglasses everyday & never have an issue with car displays. Pretty sure they take that stuff into consideration, esp since many people get behind the wheel w/ shades on.

So all those BMW drivers I see wearing those nice polarized shades can't even see their shiny screen? But then again, slap a BMW logo on it & that puppy'll sell.

Heads up display isn't the screen, it's the projection on the windshield.

I wore my muai jim sunglasses which are polarized during my test drive and don't remember any issues viewing the display screens.

If I understand this issue right, what you are looking at needs to be polarized to have a potential problem when viewing with polarized glasses. And even then, the viewing angle needs to be in conflict.

Polarized sunglasses benefits bikers, golfers and joggers .It is mainly used at the time of driving because it reduces glare from long flat surface like hood of the care or road surface.

I think that this was more of an issue when these types of displays first became prevalent but most manufacturers seem to have worked it out since then.
