I'm programmer and I don't know what to do with it either. We don't have an option to update InTouch software ourselves.

this is completely useless to us.

its just a packaging of the open source systems Nissan used to create the software...but by no means is it anything close to the final product being used in the car.

Like carz mentioned, its almost entirely unmodified RPMs for standard open source software that make up a redhat based Linux distribution. There were a few other files in there I assume that were modified from their original and therefore required by license to distribute. Nothing actually useful for understanding/modifying the inTouch software.
