help I've entered the q50 diagnostic mode by following this linkhttp://www.infinitiq50.org/forum/new-2014-q50-general-discussion-forum/6601-q50-diagnostics-mode.html

my in touch had a problem where it was stuck on now loading all apps, after finding the diagnostic mode I thought that resetting to the factory settings as the option that was given would fix the now loading all apps problem instead made it remove all features of the InTouch software so all I have is a wrong clock and three buttons that say phone information and settings and the navigation map option has disappeared has anyone encounter this problem or tested with the diagnostic mode. I have already scheduled an appointment to get it fixed I will have to play stupid and pretend like this happened out of nowhere to avoid risking getting into trouble with Infinity. it also caused my audio radio functions to cease working basically all functions besides car driving normally has ceased to work I think I can label this as bricking the in touch os

Yeah, diag mode was a terrible idea.
Well to further let anyone know the details, the audio shows that radio is playing but no audio actually coming out of speakers.
Horrible idea

Your going to have to take it to the dealer for sure. I'm not certain if they can even fix that. You might need a DCU. I asked my service manager and all he said was its over. Not sure if your gonna make this look like an accident. Good luck!

No, poking around in there without a firm understanding of what you are doing is a bad idea. Learned that lesson decades ago.

Hi. How you fix this problem? InTouch in my car have same problem, after load when i start the engine.
The only write up I saw for the diagnostic mode made it very clear that it was a fickle beast, sounds like they were correct. Hope everything worked out for you.

Yeah I remember there was a long thread (6 or 7 pages if I remember) with the original poster being roasted over giving the instructions how to do it.
Can you tell us how fast it loads with no apps? What year?

Which problem? Where the "loading apps" never goes away? Mine was fixed by re-flashing a newer update. I had the first update done last October. This newer update was released in December. Of course, this is in the US. What they offer in Europe I have no idea.

october-nowember 2014 version InTouch 2.3.7.0855
i think load time not change, and very badly functionality
Hello sir, I have made the same mistake you did 2 months ago, I did factory reset in Diagnostic mode, and it gave me the same screen you are describing, a clock, 3 buttons and no sound. I went to the dealership and I lied to them saying, "I turned on my car one day and this is what I saw, I dont know how I got this to happen, but thats not normal". They said they will reflash the software, and they did, then it was back to normal. So its fully fixable, just only the dealership will be able to reflash it for you. Hope this helps! :) good luck

How did you re-flash the update

I didn't. I was not about to make the equipment investment only to discover that I did not have access to the code. I'd suggest you see a dealer.

What can I tell my local Nissan dealer should they do with their Consult III Plus to save my 2015 Q50S Hybrid RWD from the clock without hands after a reset in diagnostics mode? I think they have the tools but lack the training.

Please don't make duplicate posts in multiple threads. It dilutes responses and makes it harder for others to follow.

I'm sorry about that. I guess I'm just really desperate.

Hi Fahad,

In the diagnostic tool they need to go to the "write" tab and then select the car's features such as Satnav, PDC, Hybrid AWD or rearwheel drive. It is just possible with a Nissan Consult module or an emulator of Consult.

I hope that this helps.

just as other people have indicated here. A Nissan/Infiniti dealer is the only source of the code and the hardware to do it.
