Q50 Delivery delays

I purchased a Q50 on June 30th. Delivery was scheduled for July 3rd but I just keep getting calls from the salesman saying that there is a problem programming the computer supposedly in all Q50s and until the problem is fixed I won't be able to take delivery. At this point I don't know whether I'm getting some sort of runaround or the straight skinny.

Is anyone else experiencing the same delay? If so what story are you getting?

All Q50 are on hold at dealers, even if you bought and paid for, won't be able to take her home before Aug5th (official release date), I know one Q50H Sport is paid for and all buttoned up in the cover, the guy can't drive the car or take the car even if he has the keys.
three more weeks and you will get your Q50. Good Luck.
Where were you 8 days ago on this site when I could have used some support!! Mine has been at my dealer since June 30th too.

Now you're blaming your phone for the fact that this sentence makes no sense?
If you are within driving distance of me, then your dealer is lying through his teeth and you should cancel the order with him and come place it with me.

If you aren't nearby, then you're getting the straight story.

Infiniti shipped us the cars and told us we couldn't ship them until we received a software update on July 3. On the 2nd or 3rd they told us the software update wasn't ready and that we'd have to wait until some (then) unspecified date for the update. A couple days ago they announced to everyone that the date is August 5.

No one is giving you the runaround. We want to sell these cars as much as you want it. Heck, we've already paid for them and we're paying interest on them as they sit on our lot. We'd love to be able to take your money.

Us NJ dealers do not even have the cars yet!!
