I have been trying to find what the difference is between the two models.
I read the Q50S front is more aggressive.
Is it the lights, grill, bumper?

I have tried to do searches but the forum and search engines but "Q50s" shows up in "Q50" searches.

Can someone post picture or tell me the difference?

I did but for some reason, the second image does not load on my ipad.

So... What is the difference I am looking for?
Thanks...

The difference is pretty superficial aesthetically. The main difference is the suspension, brakes, and seats.

So there is no physical difference?
On top of what Qbert pointed out, the sport is more agressive looking in front of the tires on each side.
See the fins at the end of the bumper on each side.
Probably a bad description on my part.
But see the pic below.

The normal bumper is not that aggressive looking.

You should just swing by a dealership and look.
They should have enough Q50's in stock where a sport will be next to a non sport.

SPORT

[edit]
This is a non sport.
See the thickness of the bottom of the bumper. It's thicker than the sport. I think it's slightly shorter as well where it sticks out at the bottom.

Thank You... Think I want to get the Sport. I like the aggressive look.
I have been a Lexus Guy for the last 10 years... (Second and third Gen GS). Their recent styling has not impressed me and they are losing their advantage. Kudos to Infiniti for being bold.

There's a difference, but it's not as pronounced as the difference between the G37 and G37S from a visual standpoint. Again, the difference is in the brakes, seats, included 19" rims, and, unfortunately, fuel mileage. I would get the S. The S was a requirement for me.

Welcome aboard! Lexus is a great brand and I really like what they did with the 2014 IS even if people a few years older than me think it looks like Predetor, but Lexus has it's hybrid technology all wrong. They use an overly complicated system with separate planetary gear sets that results in cars that aren't sporty and are slightly slower than their fully gas stablemates. Infiniti has taken a simple, replace the torque converter with an electric motor approach, to create cars that aren't just more efficient, but faster.

Per your other thread since your looking at the Hybrid.
You get the sport suspension on the base Hybrid.
Even on the base Hybrid, with just a rim/tire upgrade you will have a better handling car than a hybrid with the sport package.

Just something to think about if you go down to the dealer and you find you don't care that much about what grill you get.

Also Stillen has a sweet looking front splitter.
But it is only for the SPORT bumper I think.....

The Sport model will have a more aggressive front fascia, more aggressive fog lights, 19" sport wheels, sport brakes, paddle shifters, and a thigh extension on the seats, as well as side bolsters on the drivers seat. There is no physical difference between the gas and the hybrid model, the only difference will be the motor and the trunk will be smaller on the hybrid due to the electric battery. The packages will be split up a little differently in the hybrid model as well: the deluxe touring and technology package will be put into the deluxe technology package on the hybrid instead of having two different ones.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

If I remember correctly, there is a difference in the front fenders of the two models. Sinecure, if you would take out a ruler and measure, you could settle this. Measure the distance from the front wheel opening to the door on both models. I think you will find a difference of several inches. If not, then I guess I dreamed it.:D

There’s enough of a difference that Stillen needs to make separate front splitter’s.
…Still waiting for the non-sport splitter. ;)
