On the premium package, are the inTouch capabilities fairly limit?

For example - I cannot check weather, sports scores, text message or download new apps from the apps garage manger. I get a "mobile device not connected" when i go into the apps manager.

Am i doing something wrong or is my car just limited?

To note, i do have an iPhone 4 with the latest OS.

I haven't tried that stuff.
Probably it's missing and waiting for the InTouch update which has no ETA.

It's not that the capabilities are limited. Some things just aren't available yet. Weather is available through the SiriusXM app but a subscription is required. Sports scores are available through SiriusXM also. You cannot download new apps like Facebook and Pandora yet because the InTouch app for iPhone and Android has not been released yet. This is the app the car is looking for when you get the "mobile device not connected" error.

Text messaging should be working. Check the Infiniti owner's website for more details on InTouch and mobile phone compatibility.

I have the my SiriusXM trial running right now, but I do not see the App installed nor can I install it myself. Do I still just have to wait for the iPhone app?

if you don't have the SXM app you don't have the latest version of inTouch
This is correct. Dnjumpman23, you'll need to have your dealer update InTouch for you.
