I am holding off purchasing a 2014 Q50 until there is a trailer hitch (hidden) that can tow a 500 pound trailer/Sunfish Sailboat and also accept a bicycle rack. Does anyone know if such a hitch exists? Thanks.

not yet for the Q50, if any hitch happens to come out, it will only be an 1 1/4 inch hitch. which limits towing as its not what the car is made for. as for bike racks a class 1 hitch will only be able to take 3 bikes on a ALUMINUM bike rack, 2 bikes for steel. I wouldnt recommend towing with a Q50 as all the hitches for g37s that ever came out was never rated for towing much.

All correct and OM does not recommend towing with Q50.
I have hitch 11/4" on my g37 convertible for bikes only.

I've installed tons of hitches at my work, and i've seen some people do some pretty crazy things with a 1 1/4 hitch, one of which includes towing a motorcycle trailer via a drawbar. Not to say it isnt possible, because most class I hitches are rated to tow 1500 pounds with a 150 pound tongue weight, however doesnt mean i would do it or recommend it.

However 500 pounds isnt a whole lot, but its solely up to you if you can justify it or not.
