Just wondering if anyone attempted to tap into the video source that's in the armrest. I tried hooking up my camera to play a video and there is no menu option to switch to the video input.
Have to do some research on this and see if I can either connect my iphone to the video source or perhaps stream through google chromecast?

I know that to use that video source you need to be in park and have the parking brake set. I think if you select the Aux input it will then pick up the video.

Basically it is useless though, how often will you be sitting in your car, stopped for any period of time and want to watch a video on that screen rather than another device like a smartphone.

And the old RCA plug when HDMI is the way to go. I remember playing with it when my Q was new but I gave up after I had no luck. I was using old portable dvd player which had RCA connectors. IMO there is nothing useful about having it.
