Hi Guys,

Do you have any informations about q50s 2015 model, like what will be new in this car, when will they start to sell it etc. ? I'm wondering whether to buy the car now or wait for a new model (if there will be a new model in the near future)

Don't expect anything drastic. 2015 will most likely be refining, I wouldn't expect any new features, just improvement on what is already in our cars.

I expect a refresh in 2017 if Infiniti stays consistent. Hopefully it won't be as dramatic as the one for the G37 sedan in 2010. I don't like things that date my car. I was glad that the only thing they messed with on the coupe when I had an '08 one was just moving the fog lights.

It takes Three years for Infiniti to make changes to current production model, be it be g35, G37, Fx, or now Q50 .

Since the 2014 a first year model, in theory your probably better off waiting for the 2015.
At least it should have some minor updates and kinks worked out vs the 2014 model.
But no major overhauls or anything like that.

It's rumored in other threads on here that they will add a remote start feature. I'm hoping it turns out to be true as they have it packaged in other Infiniti vehicles.
I'm waiting for the release date of the 2015 as well, will probably pre-order.

Ideally I'd like to see remote start and cooled seats. I'll probably get at least one of those should they not be included in the 2015 MY through dealer install. I would expect to see just software updates and maybe some small hardware updates to run upcoming software updates, other than that I doubt there will be any other significant changes.

Sounds like a gas Q50S is what you want then.
It doesn't come with DAS unless you get the tech package.

The Hybrid has DAS no matter what version you get.
You can adjust your steering ratio and weight on DAS.
It's easiest the first time to set it to the slow ratio and easy or medium weight.
So if you go back and drive another Q50 with DAS have the sales person adjust the steering for you.



My guess is not much will change for the 2015 model year.
They are probably to busy trying to work out some of the bugs still lingering.
I know that sounds bad, but if you spend all your time debugging bugs from the initial launch you don't have a lot of time to do normal refreshes.
