I'm thinking I want to order some illuminated kick plates for my Q50 but when I go to look at pricing, I can't tell if the price is for the set or just one. It's listed at $280, which is obviously cheaper than ordering them from the factory installed, so that's why I feel like the pricing is individual.

Has anyone ordered illuminated kickplates after purchasing the vehicle that can provide any info?

Good question, at $280 I'm willing to bet it's $280 EACH. If you don't get a response by the morning confirming if it's one or two, you'll want to call the parts department at your local Infiniti dealer. Some aren't open on sunday so you might have to wait till monday.

They're usually sold as a pair. But that price sounds too low. If you can get two for that, buy them. But know that installation isn't going to be cheap. It's a fair amount of labor. If you can get your car new with them already installed, go that way.

Yeah after seeing what wiring diagrams for cars look like especially for just one circuit, it's going to be a headache to install but worth it if you really want it that bad.

They came factory-installed on my Q50S. Quite honestly, I don't think it's worth it to spend hundreds of dollars to have them installed after the fact, IMO. Of course you'd only notice them really at night, and even then, the other attractive elements of the car distract me from noticing them half the time. My car is liquid plat too, so I'd imagine they would stand out more on a darker colored car. Fortunately I paid a VPP discounted price of abt $173 I believe; but, if you've already seen them on a Q & really like them, then go for it. Just thought of chime in.
