Comparisons vary depending on whose doing the testing.
Autofile.com lists the 2015 with a 0-60 time of 5.5 - 5.8 seconds and a quarter mile time of 13.9 sec @ 99 mph - 14.1 sec @ 97 mph.
They list the 2018 Red Sport (AWD) with a 0-60 time of of 4.2 seconds and a quarter mile time of 12.8 sec @ 112 mph.
I wouldn't take any of the numbers too seriously though as the testing environments vary from source to source, if they do any testing at all. Some just copy others.
Overall, a VR30 twin turbo Q50 is faster than a VQ37 NA Q50. The VR30 has a lot more cost-effective potential when tuning versus the VQ37 too.
Yeah even though the VQ37 sounds nice, its just not as fast as the VR30 nor does it have much Torque. Along like others have said you cant really do much.
If I had zero intention of modding whatsoever I'd probably go with the 3.7 if I could find a low mileage example. In pretty much in any situation, to include my own, 3.0t
What’s the price difference?
whats the initial MSRP and mileage difference?
whats your budget?
what’s your goals?
Planning to mod?
Mechanical aptitude?
