quick picture. I didn't have an opportunity to go somewhere to take that "epic" picture. I'll need a few weeks to find a great location.

Nice! Love the shadowing/contrast in the pic man! :D
thanks! it was totally by accident....I got the "blackout the lights" effect using my Nikkor 50mm 1.8. I actually wasn't expecting it to be so pronounced. I had full sun at my back and there definitely weren't any shadows. Man this car has great curves. It appears I need to straighten the picture out just a bit.

looks good with the shadows and yellow background of the garage door.
Everybody says the back looks like a sonata. But that pic looks pretty good.

Ahhh that's why! The nikkor 50/1.4 definitely made a nice rendering? Legacy/manual lens? What camera?

Either way though, looking forward to more pics man! :D
It's a newer lens. Used my travel camera a Nikon d5000. I used the manual mode.

I'll turn the car around tomorrow and try a front shot. I might open the garage and have the 69 mach 1 just crouching behind it :) to fill the frame around it. Now that would be quite a menacing shot.

here is a cropped version and the settings gbert15
