"Real life" pics of the wheat+wood interior

Finally some pictures with no projectors or sun, that should give a good idea of what the wheat interior will look like in the real world.
They're at Vehicle Photo: 2014 Infiniti Q50 Premium but the link won't last, so I'm attaching them here.

Nice! Thanks for sharing these! Maybe you can add these pics to the interior pics thread as well so people can check it out and see the different interior color/trim combinations!
Thanks for sharing. That's what I want to get, the wheat. Can't tell the quality of the leather in the pics.
Good pics! It looks like a light cream color. Doesn't really look yellowish in those photos.
Wheat leather is not yellow in color. Much lighter. much like how the stone leather is not gray in color, but closer to white.

In fact, under low light, you can't tell the difference between the two.

The center section has a silver metal slash through it with the drive mode selector on it. I thought it felt and looked kind of cheap. I don't recall what it was like in the intro event car I sat in.

Based on this and your other post, it doesn't seem like you like this car. I have a G37 and an M37 and the interior quality of the q50 is far superior to the G.

I'm respectfully going to disagree. I have the stone and it does have a slight hint of gray. It just does! It's like a creamy very light gray...it does look different in certain light.

I just saw the wheat in person today and it does have a bit of a yellow undertone to it but it's much lighter than I expected. I ended up going with the wheat this go around since I have stone now.

Either are beautiful, especially if you don't want the black leather seating. I like that the door panels are not monotone like the black (all black on seats and doors).

All light colors wheat & stone tend to darken a bit as they get used, you shend3193 should take the pic of interior in a month. I have a stone interior in one of my infinitis and it seems has darkened to greyish over time.

As I think we've all seen, pictures can vary quite a bit. Like Infiniti Chick, I too have seen the wheat in person and it does have a yellow tint to it and does not look like the Stone.

Why did Infiniti discontinue Bourbon?? My M45 has it and that's one of the reasons I love it. I think they should have used Bourbon instead of Wheat. I dunno, but to me that is a big strike against the Q50 in my opinion.

This is their entry level car, for now. My M has Java. But I think they understand that 80% of their sales are for Black interiors. Having lots of options is great if you are ordering a car and waiting 3 months, but for most people who are looking for the configurations they like already on a lot, well, for dealers the less configurations the better or the ones that end up not being popular just sit on the lots.
It's unfortunate that Infiniti has to play things a tad bit safe at the moment and try to cater more towards what the sales and what the demand numbers are showing. The more configurations they make available, the higher the variation, and the higher the costs. I think that for the 2014 model year, they might be holding a few things back. If the sales and the demand are powerful enough for them to risk adding more options to the Q50 without it biting them in the ass or interfering with their higher end models, they'll provide it in the future.
Thank you very much for posting these! I've been wanting to see some good pics of the wheat with the wood. I really like it, but I wish the headliner was more of an ivory color instead of gray. Where the wheat color meets the gray headliner on the B-pillar, it makes the headliner look dirty. It detracts from the premium feel of the rest of the interior. Maybe it's less noticeable in person.
Here is a picture taken from the new Q50 brochure of the Wheat and Stone leather. Although much darker on the brochure than in real life, they so show that the wheat has a hint of yellow while the stone has gray. Again, not nearly as dark as depicted in the brochure!

This is the leather color (umber) of my current car and I'm absolutely in love with it. I wish they had something like this.

In infiniti I like the Java but they don't offer it in Q50 :(

I wish they offered something like this or at least a tan/darker than wheat.

That is about the same as the "bourbon" in my 06 M45. Love it and wish Infiniti would bring it back!

Yes that's where stone has an advantage I guess, both colors look identical:
