Not from the factory according to the order guide.

Not likely. Aftermarket maybe. I looked through all the paperwork on the Q50 and saw no mention of remote start.

I lot of these manufacturer installed remote start options require that after you get in the car, you restart the car. I guess this is either a security or safety feature. Aftermarket remote starts are more likely to allow you to get in and go.

Compustar and Viper. I have used both brands. They both work great and have amazing range. The only downfall is you have to carry another keyfob. But the new models have much slimmer fobs.

I can confirm that Compustar is a great brand. An extra keyfob isn't a big deal on your keychain.

Now, when he said 2015, do you if your colleague was referring to 2015 model for FY2014 or the 2016 model for FY2015?

I'm hoping it's the former.
