Hey Guys,

I have the Malbec Black with black interior. I have the 19's that came on my premium, but I am thinking of buying the alternate 19inch Black Chrome wheels, and lowering the car, probably on springs, cuz im a cheapo lol. Also, to be a cheapo, im probably just going to swap the runflat tires from my stock 19's to the new 19's.

Either that, or go with 20's all around, but would end up costing me a looot more money.

What do you guys think?????

(btw the dealer talked me into the "wheel and tire" protection package, when I signed my lease)

Lowering the car will hurt the resale value in most cases. It puts stresses on the car it wasn't designed to handle and the dealership will rape you over it even if they do the work. Just something to think about, especially with a lease.

Yes, there will be situations like that but in my experience I got to trade in my 03 G35 with very good to excellent balue based on KBB to my dealer for my Q50! I was just mindful of what had to be changed which was mostly the bushings that wear faster when lowered so I bought polyurethane ones from energy suspension!

For 20's, he can always go with bigger tires like others have done(like fado) and would either need just a bit of lowering or just deal with the minor tire and fender gap!

I'd say 19's. When the time comes it will be cheaper to outfit a car with tires for a 19 inch rim than 20's...

also get rid of the run flats :D
Heh? Are u sure? 19" tires are usually more expensive and harder to get the right specs!

Which tires were u referring to? Cuz as far as I know they are more expensive!

:confused::confused::confused:

Ok so...i decided on the black chrome wheels.

19 x 8.5 50mm offset. Now the question is, what tire size? I want the widest tire possible, without rub, if lowered.....

Thoughts?

Tires

I also went with the 20"s and have now installed the 245-40-20 and the 275-35-20 that look excellent and have filled up the gap nicely. 400 miles on the car ( 300 with the new tires and wheels ) and everything is perfect. drives and rides far better than the run flats as well. and Yes i have the AWD Sport Hybrid with the Steering... went with the Falcon PT 722 all season tires.
Merry Christmas
