"The 2014 Infiniti Q50S remains the quick, luxurious, midsize luxury sedan that we liked (but didn’t love) when we tested it several months ago against the BMW 335i and the Cadillac ATS V6. Chief among our gripes was simulated and absent response from the Q50S’s optional steer-by-wire rack in everyday driving conditions; this goes against the sweetness in accuracy in its competitors’ conventional systems.
No sooner than halfway through the Q50’s first model year, the automaker has quickly addressed our bellyaching by sending us to the Nashville Superspeedway to drive an updated Q50S fitted with a new Performance Package comprised of 19-inch wheels on tires of staggered front and rear sizes. None other refined the changes than four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel, who doubles as Infiniti’s Director of Performance in his downtime.
The Q50S’s components are a mixed bag. The 328 hp, 3.7-liter V6 is the Methuselah of Infiniti’s engine roster, but it growls less and seems to pull more amusingly than the less-refined unit in the G37. Its braking performance is not otherworldly. The Q50S’s column-mounted magnesium paddle shifters are the real deal; evidence of a commitment to racing-inspired authenticity."
Am I missing a page, or is the above all that they wrote up for about that test drive? (maybe my computer isn't showing up a tab to a second page..it acts strange sometimes?) If not, that is one of the worst test drive article I've read in my life. What a waste of time.
