Q50 2015 AWD, pretty much stock except for axle back, Down springs and wheels/tires. Car is well maintained, with usual 5000-6000 mile Mobile 1 oil changes, everything else seems to be running well.

Question is: plan on hitting some back roads soon. We all know the HP and torque on the VQ come at the higher end of the RPM range.
Is there any problem with running these cars at higher RPMs, say... over 3-4000 RPM, for an extended period of time (like 30-45 minutes at a time)?
Talking about twisty/curvy/canyon type roads, where I might be shifting often (paddle shifters). I'm pretty sure the engine is up to it, but what about the transmission/AWD system?

3-4krpm is low for the VQ, go beat on it.

Transmission and AWD system will be fine, you may want to invest in a oil-cooler if you plan to be hitting them twisty roads
frequently but yeah she should be just fine.
