I wonder how extensive the marketing campaign will be for the Q50 to introduce it and the new name to the world...

So far there's the Mag ads and to my surprise last night... I went to see Man of Steel for the second time and got there a little earlier and while waiting for the movie to start they played a commercial for the Q50! The part that sucks is I was talking to my friend next to me and had my head turned and only saw like the last 5 seconds of it! So I can't even really tell you all what it consisted of besides it ended with the car driving down with what looked like a nice runway. There was a front 3/4 shot of it driving and that switched to a rear 3/4 shot as it passed the camera and then into the typical Infiniti logo animation. And All I heard was, "The all new Q50 from Infiniti..." And that was it. Oh and it was Graphite Shadow.

But I def think commercials showing in theaters is definitely a good route for exposure for the car. I wonder if the commercial showed during the opening week of Man of Steel, that would have globs of exposure.

I saw that ad. It ran before World War Z I was watching today. It starts of showing bunch of men in thier 30s walking down some kind of assembly line, getting ready to go to work. Everyone wearing same suit, same tie, being dressed by assembly line robots. Then cuts to a revolving tray containing car key fobs (BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc). Then one of the screens gets hacked by an attractive woman telling our protagonist to quickly and carefully check his pockets. Cut to protagonist running down a long corridor being chased by security guards. Shot if q50S bumper badge. Cut to grey Q50 sitting under bright lights. Protagonist breaks through and escapes from dreary city scape in the background in his Q50. Then various angles of Q50 being driven on road. This last part is same shots as the one folks have seen recently in car magazine ads.

I'm sitting in the theater right now and I just saw the ad in front of The Heat (So it must be playing in front of all movies). It looked phenomenal!(Gandhi nailed the description) It was a really cool ad and unlike anything I've seen from Infiniti before (which I'm sure was the point)...

lol, I snapped this earlier tonight!

InfinitiQ50Commercial.mpg - Solidfiles

Sorry that I missed the first 1-2 seconds and the quality in general. I don't think I can get in trouble for recording a commercial. :D

Anyone is free to upload it to their Youtube channel as well. I looked and it doesn't look like it's online yet.

Until we get someone to move or merge threads, I'm also gonna post this in the Videos forum.
