We are still experiencing scammers entering this forum to allegedly sell parts and ripping off members. Just had another one today steal someone's money for a ASB that didn't exist.

Unless you trust the seller completely, do not purchase anything on this forum unless you use a payment method that has Buyer Protection.

Member Gtr6y tried to scam me on a set of Megan Racing LDP. Attached is his initial communication, my PayPal payment and PayPal returning funds. Time for the ban hammer.

The post is a classic Nigerian scam. They refer you to another person's email address to complete the sale and then try to convince the buyer not to use payment methods that have buyer's protection. gtr6y was using multiple IP addresses from Nigeria as well as many proxy servers in the US that are known for nefarious network activity. These Nigerian scammers almost always use Tapatalk from cell phones as they don't have home internet.

gtr6y has been banned.

bavov55460 is definitely a scammer. IP addresses lead to known proxy servers in Caracas, Venezula and of course, Lagos, Nigeria. Thanks for the report.
