and part of the rear view mirrors.

I have the same black plastic on my 2010 Equinox. My son was helping me scrape ice off the windows a few winters ago, and he left some fairly significant scratches on the plastic.

I was able to get the scratches out, and restore the plastic to looking like new using ClearKote Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze.

plastic on the exterior is a teribble idea. I have no idea why manufacturers choose it because they scratch so darn easily.

you just have to be careful with these black plastic pieces. Look into getting clear film applied ontop kind of like 3M clearbra.
