They are located at the bottom of the stereo control knobs between the hazzard lights button above the ashtray.I know this is a trivial question compared to what's being asked elsewhere but does anyone know where the controls for the seat heaters are? I've looked at pictures and videos but can't tell. I'm constantly catching bag straps on the ones in my G37 and turning them on accidentally. Nothing like a heated seat in August!
I don't know about "placed correctly". As far as seat heaters go, I think you could put them anywhere as long as they're easy to get to. Aesthetically speaking, I think I liked the execution of having them as knobs where they were, but they could've been anywhere I guess.

My '04 has the toggles here also, rock back for low, rock forward for my ass is freezing, but they're too easy to accidentally bump into and activate. That's why I thought they upgraded to the knobs.It's obvious that you like "knobs."
Seriously, I don't know what you guys are talking about. I have a 2nd generation G, and the seat heating switches are toggles, flat on the center console between the seats.
Thanks - I see what you mean. I didn't realize they changed the interior that much, while keeping the exterior pretty much the same. The placement in the Q50 seems to be a better idea.From my 2011:
