So, on Friday my Service Engine Soon icon turned on. I checked the gas cap and everything was fine. It has remained on all weekend, so this morning I dropped it off at the dealer. They say there are no malfunction codes, so they just reset/turned off the light. Does that sound normal? Why would my Service Engine Soon light come on if there was nothing wrong?

That's possible only it was gas cap issue but if the engine light comes on again then dealer tech took short cut and just reset.
