Wanted to start a thread with pics of tinted Q50s so people would get an idea how our Q50s would look like in different percentages of tints so pls show them off!

Pls include tint percentage and brand if possible!

I'll try and contribute as soon as I get my tints done!

Haha! I would actually be relieved since most of us are guys here and this thread will be filled with man boobs if the thread was what you thought it was! Wahahaha!

Johnson 40% front then 35% the rest! Getting it done tom but might change my mind once I see the actual tint! Was supposed to go with suntek cxp but didnt want to pay $350!

35% all around by 3M - just went with Color Stable not ceramic since I am only leasing. Otherwise would have gone with Crystalline.

Here you go, I just took this. It's a close up and you can see what it looks like on a sunny day. It's 3M FX I think, 30%. It's the cheaper stuff (although it wasn't cheap) as I am leasing as well.

Surely everyone loves nice tints! Especially when done right! I can stare at huge tints all day!

A bit annoyed by my tint guys! They places a small "ad" inside the film on the driver's side window (on the bottom). Pretty sure I should get it for free if I'm advertising for them! I'm just saying!

WOW that is so not cool. I can't believe they would do that without your permission. You should have them take it off and if they damage your tint, they should replace it.

I know, right?!?! It is annoying and if more visible I would make a fuss. But the owner did drop me off so I could get my nails done while the car was being tinted. Haha

My last 2 cars had the little ad inserted down there, too. As a matter of fact, one of the ways I found out who the dealer used to tint their cars was to drop by there and look at the windows. That way I didn't pay twice the price at the dealer.

That's always been my philosophy. That's why I tell the dealers not to put their names on the car - I refuse to advertise for them for free. As far as that ad on the tint is concerned, I would go back to them if it's that noticeable. The business that tinted my G did have it's name on the tint in one place, but it was so inconspicuous that I forgot about it. I had them do the Q, and their name is nowhere on the car. However, I did just check, and noticed that the glass manufacturer's name and information(AGC Automotive) is on almost all the panes of glass. Again, I hadn't noticed until I just checked. Chick, good luck at the tinter. If the name is in just one place, maybe they'll replace that one piece.
