We get the usual 3 month trail subscription for these two services. Neither one is appearing as an icon on the car's screen. Dealer says they are apps and cannot load until Oct 1. Anyone else have this problem?
The SXM Travel should work with the navigation. You should see the green/yellow/red lines near the major roads to show traffic conditions and you should see warning and construction on the navigation as well.
As for the TravelLink portion, it will not be available until Fall 2013 as per Infiniti's Website: http://www.infinitiusa.com/intouch (look at the SiriusXM features portion)
SiriusXM Travel Link - Coming Fall 2013
Find detailed fuel price information, current and forecasted weather and local movie theatre listings, start times and ratings.
It's not really an issue, its just a missing feature for the inTouch that will be available in the next couple of weeks.
I think (not positive) that the SXM Travel Link app will not be tied to the SXM radio and traffic subscription, but rather be part of the apps that you get as part of the premium Infiniti Connection subscription. Since no one has it yet, it won't be completely clear until the apps can be loaded onto InTouch - presumably next month.
So stay tuned on this subject. You're not missing anything now that should be there.
To add to Sinecure...if you use the voice command for the navigation and go to "Other Information" or something like that, you will see voice prompt options for fuel prices and weather forecast. If you select it, you wont get a response, just a generic error saying its not available. This is because the feature isn't available yet in the car, but will be when the next update comes out.
