my car unlocks fine by pressing the button to unlock or unlock the car, but the problem I am having is that the car doesn't unlock with the key in my pocket when I pull on the handle to unlock it. Any solutions?

Have you checked within the InTouch settings to see if that is set to touch unlock or with the button on the door handle?
It's a setting in your InTouch setting that needs to be turned on.
Also, you have to put your hand inside the handle first and let it unlock. It will unlock and then you pull on the handle. Check to see if the setting is turned off like everyone has said, then make sure you let it read your hand before you pull on it.

i will check later on today if the thing is turned off in my cat
So I tried the thing from the settings, and it still didn't do anything
What's the configuration of Q50?
What do you mean by configuration?
Configuration means, what q50 and options you have.
Config shouldn't matter. In terms of the keys and locks, they all work the same.

If the functions are enabled in Settings->Vehicle, and it still isn't working right, you should go see your dealer.
was it working before? I noticed that it happened to me recently and I replaced the battery on the fob and it works great again.

simple solution;)no need to go to dealer but sales people want you to go to dealer:|
Never occurred to me that battery would be low so soon. I suppose it is possible. Usually they last a year or two.

Get the pitchforks ready. If the battery in the remotes are dying way earlier than they should, we could really raise a stink. *^[email protected]# $50K car should come with a better battery in the remote! I can't believe Infiniti is sticking it to all us Q50 users. Post on their FB page "buy my remote back."

When I had my G i had to replace the battery every 6 months assuming I buy the duracell/energizer ones. If I go and buy cheap batteries they usually only last a month or two tops.

Mind you I like buttons and I like to push them.
I check/change batteries in remotes/fobs every year in fall (on hour fall back day) when we check/change batteries some of safety equipments around the house.

The best way to check your FOB's battery is to check if your car can be opened and closed from 30feet with your FOB if not just change the battery. (Easy solution).
Have this issue as well. Car was at the dealers today for regular service and they couldn't figure it out... They even had a call into Infiniti's tech line. Ends up they're going to replace the body control module once the part arrives.
I have the same issue with mine. The dealer said they have to replace all handles and they are all on backorder in the US. I have been waiting over a month for new ones to come in.
